Applications are accepted year round and should be made well in advance of enrollment. If you would like to apply please fill out the Waiting list form. Immunization and medical reports, and income verification for state-supported learning spaces are required.To download an application and additional documents, please visit the Care Connection website for the application. Applications and income guidelines are found under Jersey Cares for Kids (NJCK) Child Care Subsidy Program.

 

You may return the completed application and required documents directly to Child Care Connection, however if you are interested in enrolling your child at Better Beginnings Child Development Center, you may return your copy to our agency.  E-Child Care, or ECC, is a newly implemented way to:

-Account for attendance and absences.
-Issue payments to child care centers and registered and approved home providers.
-Allow parents to be responsible for reporting the attendance of their child/ren in subsidized child care.

ECC will increase the effective use of child care funds by:

-Lessening improper payments.
-Eliminating the chances of fraud and error reductions.
-Standardizing the payment system for child care programs.
